- Institute for Teaching Innovation
The Institute for Teaching Innovation is the primary faculty development space on campus and is dedicated to improving the accessibility, experimentation, and promotion of innovative teaching practices.
Besides a commitment to advancing teaching and learning at D’Youville University, The Institute for Teaching also offers programs and resources for all those interested in collegiate teaching excellence.
The ITI provides professional development for faculty across all career stages and disciplines. We are currently concerned with exemplary pedagogy, technology-infused instruction, outcome-based assessment, inclusive strategies, faculty research and scholarship, and faculty wellness.
For each of these concepts, we are concerned with accessibility of information, experimentation, and publishing on our learnings.
