This program applies to the educational training for partial fulfillment to become a Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA) or Certified Addiction Recovery Coach (CARC) through the Alcohol and Substance Abuse Providers of New York State (www.asapnys.org).

Participants will receive:

  • Convenient online (via Zoom) education: Monday - Thursday (9:00am - 4:00pm), with exception of simulation and shadowing days.
  • 4 days (Thursdays) of in-person simulation training at the Health Professions Hub on the D'Youville University campus.
  • 2 Weeks of first-hand shadowing experience at partnering professional agencies.

April 3 – May 26 and June 26 – August 18
