D’Youville University is expanding opportunities in integrative health with the launch of its Bachelor of Science in Wellness Management and Massage Therapy, a first-of-its-kind program designed to prepare students for both hands-on clinical practice and leadership roles in the growing wellness industry.

This innovative degree blends licensure-aligned massage therapy education with wellness management, allowing students to build practical skills while gaining the knowledge needed to coordinate, lead, and advance wellness initiatives across healthcare and community settings.

As students progress, the wellness management component prepares them for expanded career pathways beyond traditional massage therapy roles, including leadership, program coordination, teaching eligibility in New York State, and pre-professional pathways such as chiropractic. Coursework integrates anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, professional ethics, and wellness coordination, supporting safe, effective, and client-centered care.

Graduates are prepared to work in medical and rehabilitation clinics, spas, wellness centers, corporate wellness programs, community organizations, or independent practice. As demand grows for licensed massage therapists and integrative care professionals, this program offers a flexible, future-focused pathway that supports early workforce entry and long-term career growth.
