D’Youville Launches Masters in Integrated Pharmaceutical Sciences
D’Youville University is expanding its graduate portfolio with the launch of the Master of Science in Integrated Pharmaceutical Sciences, a one-year, full-time program designed for students seeking to bridge scientific discovery with real world patient impact.
Offered in an immersive, in-person format over three trimesters, fall, spring, and summer. The 32-credit program prepares graduates for careers across the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and healthcare industries. Students gain a deep understanding of how drugs are discovered, developed, formulated, and evaluated, with coursework that connects laboratory science to clinical and regulatory application.
The curriculum emphasizes core areas such as pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, pharmaceutics, analytical techniques, and research methodology, providing students with the technical expertise and professional readiness demanded by today’s rapidly evolving pharmaceutical landscape. A flexible elective structure allows students to tailor their studies through offerings within the School of Pharmacy or other graduate programs at D’Youville, supporting specialization in emerging areas of interest.
The program can be completed as a stand-alone master’s degree for students with a science background or pursued concurrently by Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) students seeking to strengthen their academic credentials and competitive edge. Graduates are well positioned for roles in research and development, clinical research, regulatory affairs, quality assurance, and other high-growth sectors within pharmaceutical and biotech organizations, healthcare systems, and research institutions.
