Student Management Association Elects First Officers

Buffalo, New York – April 19, 2012 – The D'Youville College Student Management Association elected officers for the 2012/2013 academic year at a general meeting on April 18th. Jeffrey Lesanti, Jr. was elected President, Ann Cordero-Vice President, Antwanette Dato-Secretary, and Evan Kaminski-Treasurer. Candace Leli was elected as International Business Representative and Stanley Mayfield, Jr. was elected as the Representative for the Business Management Program.

Austin Houlding, a 2010 graduate of the International Business program was the guest speaker for the evening event.

The Student Management Association was developed during the 2011/2012 academic year with the mission of serving the community through volunteering, encouraging development of students by providing leadership opportunities, and panels/guest speakers/presentations related to business topics for students.

Dr. Susan Kowalewski, Assistant Professor in the Business Department, is the advisor for the organization.
