D’Youville University Nutrition & Dietetics Program Reaccredited Through 2033

D’Youville University’s Nutrition & Dietetics program has been reaccredited through June 2033 by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND), reaffirming the program’s commitment to academic excellence and student success.

ACEND is the accrediting agency for education programs preparing students for careers as registered dietitians and nutrition and dietetics technicians. Operating under the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, ACEND evaluates programs nationwide to ensure they meet rigorous standards for curriculum quality, supervised experiential learning, faculty qualifications, and student outcomes. Graduation from an ACEND-accredited program is required for eligibility to pursue credentialing as a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN).

The reaccreditation affirms that D’Youville’s curriculum, supervised practice experiences, and faculty expertise continue to meet the highest national standards in the profession.

The comprehensive reaccreditation process included a detailed self-study report and a site visit, during which alumni, students, faculty, and community partners shared their experiences and demonstrated the program’s impact.

With accreditation secured for the next seven years, D’Youville’s Nutrition & Dietetics program remains focused on innovation, growth, and preparing the next generation of nutrition professionals to serve with knowledge, integrity, and pride.
