D’Youville Student Named Tennis Player of the Week

<Buffalo, New York – March 13, 2012 – D'Youville College men's tennis player Steve Beatty was named by the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference as their Player of the Week.

In the Spartan's conference opener March 10 versus Franciscan, Beatty won in first singles 6-4, 4-6, 6-4. It was the third-straight match Beatty won in first singles.

He is a 2006 graduate of Grand Island Senior High School.

D'Youville (0-4, 0-1 AMCC) plays Penn State Behrend March 16 at their home venue Miller Tennis Center (5959 Sheridan Dr.' Williamsville, NY). Start time is 4:30 p.m.
