D’Youville University is on track for one of its strongest fall enrollments recent years, with preliminary data indicating an anticipated 10–13% increase over Fall of 2024. While official numbers will be finalized later this semester, the upward trajectory reflects strong demand for D’Youville’s distinctive mix of accelerated degree pathways, nationally recognized value, and commitment to student success.

Fall 2025 enrollment is projected to approach the university’s pre-pandemic high of 3,048 students in 2019. Several academic programs are fueling enrollment growth, including accelerated professional degrees such as the 5-year Doctor of Pharmacy, 6-year Doctor of Physical Therapy, 7.5-year Doctor of Chiropractic, and 5-year Doctor of Medical Sciences. D’Youville’s extensive online offerings remain a significant draw, led by Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Family Nurse Practitioner, Nursing/RN-BSN, Pharmacy (PharmD), and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

Student housing is already at 95% capacity, driven in part by the expansion to 21 NCAA Division II athletic programs. The growth is prompting the launch of a new, fully furnished student residence, scheduled to break ground in January 2026. The project is part of D’Youville’s forward-thinking strategy to grow its campus footprint and enhance the residential experience, with completion set for July 2027.

As the #1 ranked Best Value University in Buffalo and #6 in New York State for Social Mobility (U.S. News & World Report), D’Youville continues to attract students who seek both high-quality academics and a strong return on investment. The university’s growth is further supported by investments from New York State, whose commitment to higher education funding is helping to expand access and opportunity for students across the region.

“D’Youville’s momentum is the direct result of our focus on creating pathways that prepare students for in-demand careers while ensuring they have the resources and support to thrive,” said Dr. Lorrie Clemo, President of D’Youville University. “Our academic innovation, NCAA Division II athletics, and commitment to social mobility are resonating with students in a very powerful way.”

Final Fall 2025 enrollment numbers will be finalized later this semester, but the trend is clear, D’Youville University is rising, growing in size, impact, and national visibility.
