Future Nurses of America Club to Visit Campus

Buffalo, New York – November 5, 2012 – A group of young high school sophomores who are members of Future Nurses of America will be visiting the School of Nursing at D'Youville College on Wednesday morning, November 14, for a presentation and tour of the nursing facilities and campus.

"This will be an excellent opportunity for the students who have an interest in nursing to see firsthand what nursing student life is like," says Dr. Tina Sinatra-Wilhelm, associate professor of nursing at D'Youville and event organizer. "They will attend a college nursing lecture and a skills demonstration in a nursing lab."

The students are from the Health Science Charter School, 1140 Ellicott Street in Buffalo.

The Future Nurses of America Club has been on a number of high school campuses for decades. The club was created for students who have an interest in nursing and want to learn more about the profession.
