DYC Instructor Named Nutrition Ambassador

Buffalo, New York – October 16, 2012 – Bonnie Cass, a clinical instructor in the D'Youville Dietetics Program, has been named a Clinical Nutrition Ambassador for Morrison Management Specialists, a member of the Compass Group, "the nation's only food service company dedicated to providing food, nutrition and dining services to the healthcare and senior living communities."

Cass, a clinical and nutrition support dietitian, on the staff of Erie County Medical Center, will, as an Ambassador, identify resources that would benefit other registered dietitians and assist with the development of patient education materials.

She will also review and assist with updating the Morrison Nutrition Care Manuals and participate with the nutrition education webinar series.

Cass has been a clinical instructor for D'Youville dietetics for four years and teaches the critical care nutrition rotation for 5th year dietetics students at the trauma unit at ECMC.

A graduate of Buffalo State College, she previously was a clinical dietitian for the Morrison group at the Los Angeles County Medical Center.
