Biography

With over 35 years of clinical and administrative healthcare experience, I bring a unique perspective to my teaching and presentations. I serve as an external reviewer for multiple professional journals, presented nationally and internationally receiving multiple awards for topics presented. I completed Association of College and University Excellence Course in Effective Teaching Practices, is a reviewer for Quality Matters, and has completed multiple Sloan Consortium’s Teaching Certifications. I am constantly striving to improve my teaching and learning in the classroom whether online or face to face. I was recently named Director for the Women's Leadership Program at D'Youville University providing educational opportunities to students related to leadership and career advancement.
