Stephen Cicero, MS, PA-C

  • Clinical Assistant Professor

Biography

After graduating from the D'Youville University Physician Assistant Program back in 2019, I quickly began working clinically as a hospitalist PA with the Buffalo Medical Group Hospitalist Team, where I continue to practice internal medicine full time. With the start of my career aligning near perfectly with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, I witnessed firsthand how such an unprecedented situation can shake a community healthcare system to its core, and learned quickly that this system is only as strong as the caregivers who constitute its foundation. It is my philosophy that the finest, most devoted, and most resilient PA's are first assembled in the classroom. Since starting my teaching here at D'Youville University in 2021, my goal every day has been to build knowledgeable and well-rounded PA's who have been exposed to, practiced, and mastered a wide breadth of material, so when the time finally comes, they are prepared to not only change the lives of their patients, but also change the future of medicine.
