Ronald Stevan Rambally, PharmD, M.Ed

  • Assistant Clinical Professor

Biography

Dr. Rambally joined the D’Youville University School of Pharmacy as an Assistant Clinical Professor in June of 2025. He graduated from the University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2007 with his PharmD. Immediately following this, he took a position with Rite Aid as a pharmacy manager for 1 year, then transitioned to Walgreens for the next 4 years. During that time, he was an active preceptor and was heavily involved in OTC patient education programming and compounding.

In 2012, Dr. Rambally moved over to Wegmans Pharmacy, where he remained for eleven years. He served in various roles including Pharmacy Manager and was licensed in 9 states. He successfully completed the Wegmans Leadership University program, and was a Dale Carnegie graduate. Toward the end of this time period he also consulted for The Claro Group, where he was involved in researching various trends within the industry.

In 2023, Dr. Rambally joined Independent Health’s Pharmacy Benefit Dimensions as a Trade Relations Pharmacist. There, he was involved in Commercial and Medicare contracting for the pharmacy and medical benefits, cost-analysis of new drugs to market, formulary recommendations, and the examination of the pharmacy channel versus medical channel for specialty drugs.

Prior to his pharmacy career, Dr. Rambally was heavily involved in education. He received his Masters of Education from SUNY Buffalo, and was a Professional Tennis Registry certified professional. His specialty was youth development and coached many athletes to full scholarships. Fun fact, he served as Niagara University’s Head Men’s Tennis Coach while attending pharmacy school at UB. It is this background that has cultivated his passion for teaching throughout his career.

Currently, Dr. Rambally is helping to cultivate D’Youville University’s connection to the community as he serves as Director of Pharmacy at Western New York Blood Care.
