Lisa Daly, PhD, PMHNP-BC

  • Assistant Professor
  • Program Director

Biography

Dr. Morelli Daly completed her PhD in Nursing at Binghamton University in 2020. Her dissertation utilized the framework of Sr. Calista Roy's Adaptation Model and its relevance in the psychiatric population. This theoretical model aligns with Dr. Morelli Daly's philosophy on direct patient care; that we are a whole system and each system will effect the whole being. Dr. Morelli Daly was influential in implementation of mental health services provided to the community on campus in the new Hub through her work on the Mother Cabrini Foundation grant. A Buffalo native, she grew up in the Riverside community of the city with her 2 older brothers. She has spent the last 20 years living in the Binghamton area with her clinical practice focusing on a rural population in community health care. Dr. Morelli Daly continues to live a life of service through community non-profit organizations and volunteerism and never refusing to serve the most vulnerable.
