I was hired as the head of the Periodicals Department in the D’Youville Library in 1991. In recent years, my duties evolved into the Electronic Resources and ILL Department, where I now manage all interlibrary loan borrowing and lending, serial subscriptions, and the complete electronic resources lifecycle.
A degree in anthropology and archaeology prior to earning my MLS in Library Science led to the publication of two book chapters and approximately 70 encyclopedia articles in these areas. I have served as a peer reviewer for the “Innovations” section of the Journal of Library Innovation, and am currently a book reviewer for the peer-reviewed journal Serials Review.
I have served on many campus and professional committees over the years, including the Middle States Steering Committee. I have also served on the Executive Board of the regional chapter of ACRL (Association of College and Research Libraries) in several capacities, including President, and am currently an active member of NASIG- a national serials and electronic resources group.
