Biography

Dr. D’Angelo studied and received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2022. Upon graduating, she went on to complete her Postgraduate Year One Pharmacy Residency training at the Western New York Veterans Affairs Healthcare System in Buffalo, NY. Throughout residency, she had the privilege of presenting her research at multiple local and one national conference. During residency, she received her advanced academic teaching certificate from the University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, solidifying her interest in academia. Her areas of interest include ambulatory care pharmacy and internal medicine. She is passionate about working with underserved populations, providing optimal patient-centered care, and mentoring students in both the classroom and on clinical rotations.

Research Interests

Dr. D’Angelo’s research focuses primarily on determining the impact of pharmacist interventions in various disease states in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Her research seeks to justify the creation of more clinical pharmacist positions to improve patient care through an integrated healthcare approach.
