Credit Card Marketing Policy

D'Youville prohibits the advertising, marketing, and merchandising of credit cards to any person on premises owned or leased by D'Youville and at D'Youville sponsored events.

  1. Prohibition. The advertising, marketing, or merchandising of credit cards to students on the campus of D’Youville is strictly prohibited. This includes the posting for flyers, posters or other forms of information on any college property or within the D’Youville computer network, for the purpose of advertising, marketing, or the merchandising of credit cards. This policy also pertains to any contracted services that the college may hold with any companies or vendors.
  2. Penalty. Any individual visitor, or licensee, or invitee on said campus found violating this policy shall be banned from the campus for a period of two years and any credit card issuer represented by said visitor, licensee, or invitee shall be banned from the campus for a period of one year. Any student, faculty, or other staff found violating this policy shall be subject to disciplinary action.
  3. Exemptions. This policy does not apply to any advertising, marketing, or merchandising of credit cards by either D'Youville or an agent of D'Youville to non-students, nor does it prohibit the advertising, marketing, or merchandising within any banking institution located on the campus.
