"Becoming regular season champions in our first season eligible is amazing," said Head Baseball Coach Kyle McLain. "It has been years in the making. All these guys we recruited two, three, four years ago, our number one message to them was to compete for regular and postseason titles year one of being eligible at the NCAA Division II level. We didn't want to be a doormat and take a long time to win. Our student-athletes have put in the work for a long time and it's really special to see this group reach one of our goals."

Kyle McLain was named Coach of the Year after leading the Saints to a program-record 29 wins, an ECC-best 18-6 record, and their first ECC Tournament appearance.

Since becoming full-fledge NCAA Division II members in the summer of 2023, the D'Youville University baseball team is the institution's first collegiate athletic program to win a regular season conference championship.
