Buffalo, New York – April 24, 2012 – D'Youville College placed two men's tennis players on the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference All-Conference team that was released today.

Named to the AMCC Second-Team was Steve Beatty (Grand Island, NY/Grand Island). Beatty was 6-0 in the AMCC regular-season playing first singles and going toward a championship at the AMCC Tournament April 15. Beatty entered the event seeded #1 but an injury forced him to retire in the semifinals.

Also named to the AMCC Second-Team in singles was Jericko Gonzalez (San Francisco, CA/St. Ignatius/Skyline CC). In his first season at D'Youville, Gonzalez was 4-3 in singles play and was a finalist in the third singles flight at the AMCC Championship April 14-15.

D'Youville was seeded fifth as a team at the AMCC Championship and finished fourth powered by the finals appearance of Gonzalez at third singles and doubles play of the Beatty and Gonzalez combination that advanced all the way to the finals in first doubles.
