Student Government Association Committees
The Student Engagement Committee is led by two student co-chairs to coordinate student engagement efforts and activities for the D’Youville student body. This committee also comprehensively plans 60+ events each year in conjunction with Student Affairs on and off campus for all DYU students to participate in and enjoy! This committee also recommends recognition of student clubs, organizations, recreational athletic organizations, club and intramural sports, and also determines if recognition should continue.
The Green Initiative Committee is dedicated to promoting environmental sustainability on and around D’Youville’s campus, fostering eco-conscious practices, and improving actions that protect the planet. Through the collaboration of committee members, this committee aims to reduce D'Youville's ecological footprint and to create a healthier, more sustainable future for the environment and those residing in it.
The Saints Serve Committee serves D’Youville as well as the surrounding communities in the Buffalo area by pursuing philanthropy, modeling community engagement, and coordinating student service efforts. This committee believes in the power of acts of kindness towards one another, as well as the abundant satisfaction that those served and servants alike derive from this.
