D'Youville University Ranked #17 Among Best College Campuses in New York State

BUFFALO, NEW YORK – D'Youville University has been ranked #17 among the 2027 Best College Campuses in New York by Niche, placing the University in the top 11 percent of the 164 colleges and universities included in the statewide ranking.

The 2027 rankings are based on key statistics and student reviews, using data from the U.S. Department of Education. Niche evaluates the overall campus experience by considering resources and facilities including classrooms, laboratories, performance venues, housing, dining, recreation and other spaces that support student life.

“We have made significant investments in our campus because the environment we create for our students is an important part of their D’Youville experience,” said President Lorrie Clemo. “Our goal is to provide spaces that bring people together, support learning and collaboration, and prepare our students for what comes next. This recognition is especially meaningful because it reflects the experience our students have on campus every day.”

D’Youville’s Buffalo campus combines historic facilities with newer learning, wellness, and community spaces designed to connect students’ academic experiences with professional preparation and community engagement. Among the University’s signature facilities is the Health Professions Hub, an education, training, and community health center where students and professionals from multiple health disciplines learn and work together while providing healthcare services to residents of Buffalo’s West Side.

D’Youville’s campus experience also extends beyond the classroom through athletics, student organizations, wellness initiatives, cultural programming, outdoor gathering spaces, and traditions that bring students together throughout the academic year.

The recognition comes as D’Youville continues investing in facilities and programs that connect its campus with the surrounding community. The university’s Health Professions Hub provides clinical education alongside healthcare services for area residents while D’Youville’s new Workforce Development Center, scheduled to open in spring 2027, will further expand the university’s physical presence on Buffalo’s West Side and provide career-focused healthcare, business, and other skills-oriented training.

The Niche recognition is the latest acknowledgement of D’Youville’s continued growth and investment in the student experience, as the University expands its academic programs, facilities and impact throughout Western New York.
