Heather Harvey, DrPH

Biography
Dr. Heather Harvey received her Doctorate in Public Health from the University of South Carolina, in 1999. Over two decades she served on the faculty at various universities and medical schools in the US, West Indies and Middle East, with an emphasis on community health, health policy, ethics & epidemiology. During that time, she also consulted and developed specialized curriculums as an educational consultant in Thailand, Jordan & Saudi Arabia.
She returned to the US in 2021 to focus on current public health needs related to Covid 19 & served as the course director for the health sciences and preventative medicine & public health at Limestone University & Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine Montana, respectively, as well is a contracted consultant for the New Mexico Health Care Authority, Managed Care Oversight Bureau.
She has published more than 30 peer–reviewed journal articles and has over 600 publication citations. She has presented both nationally and internationally in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East and served on various international conference planning boards including the International General Practice & Primary Care and International General Medicine Conferences, in addition to being both a peer-reviewer and presenter for the APHA’s national conference.
